Radio IP is currently looking for an autonomous and motivated individual, eager to participate in the evolution of our communications software suite developed in the C/C++ language on FreeBSD. The ideal candidate must possess an advanced understanding of TCP/IP networking and demonstrate solid expertise in Unix/Linux Kernel programming.

Analysis

• Take part in the architectural definition of proposed requirements,
• Collaborate in drafting the functional specification of the selected solutions.

Development

• Code software on approved design,
• Document and conduct unit testing on developed components,
• Correct issues identified in both development and production software,
• Assist in the design of test case scenarios,
• Ensure technology transfer with the tech writing team by maintaining design documentation.

Planning and Teamwork

• Bring guidance by sharing one's technological expertise with R&D colleagues,
• Account for project advancement,
• Help project maintenance by provide realistic work effort estimates and deliverable timeline.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent,
• Minimum of 8 years experience in software development,
• C, C++ programming experience,
• Experience in UNIX/LINUX operating system configuration (Boot sequence, File management systems, and so on),
• Advanced networking knowledge,
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English,
• Autonomous,
• Strong analytical skills.
