Daniel Desgagné, Chief Operating Officer

Joining Radio IP Software in January 2010 as COO, Daniel Desgagné, Eng. has over 25 years of experience in executive management and leadership positions, in both domestic and overseas markets. A significant portion of Daniel's career has been spent in the information technology industry. Prior to working at Radio IP Software, Daniel was President at GEO-3D, a software and hardware company in the field of geomatics and geographic information technologies. Focused equally on strategic vision and execution, Daniel has implemented various initiatives that have helped several organizations achieve their growth objectives while attaining full operational and financial efficiency.

Since co-founding Radio IP Software in 1998, Yvon Bergeron has held key technical and executive management positions within the organization. He has been instrumental in the development of wireless network software solutions with a focus on enabling mobile data communications over any type of wireless network technology. As the original architect of Radio IP MTG™, the company's flagship Mobile VPN solution, Yvon has kept Radio IP Software at the forefront of mobile data solutions for vertical market user needs. Yvon graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Mathematics from the University of Sherbrooke in 1985.

Frank Draper, Vice President Sales, Worldwide Sales

Frank Draper is a senior international telecommunications executive with close to 30 years of sales, marketing and operational experience. A dynamic and highly motivated professional, Frank has a wealth of proven successes in driving products and services to the marketplace. Before joining Radio IP Software, Frank was President & COO at Airtel Telecom Group and has held multiple international, executive-management positions in emerging and established companies such as Wavesat Inc, Platforms Wireless, Bell Canada, Trylon-TSF and Harris Corporation. Frank holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada.

Germain Emond, Vice President IS/IT

Germain Emond joined Radio IP Software in 2003 with an extensive background in wireless communication and information technology. From 2005 to 2008, Germain held the position of Vice President Research & Development. Over the past twenty years his work has focused on creating middleware solutions for mobile data transmission. Prior to joining Radio IP Software, Germain was Director of Software Development from 1992 to 2002 for M3i Systems Inc., a company specializing in computer-aided dispatch. Germain holds a diploma from Limoilou College in Computer Science.

Mario Fugère, Vice President Finance & Administration

Mario Fugère is a co-founder of Radio IP Software. He was appointed Vice President Finance & Administration in 2001. From 1994 to 1998 Mario served as project manager consultant and Vice President Operations at Com Bacc Consulting Inc. During this time he worked in conjunction with JTI MacDonald. Prior to that, Mario was a partner and senior consultant with JBA Software Quebec Inc. Mario holds a bachelor's degree in Information System Management from the University of Quebec in Montreal.

Mario Ostiguy, Vice President Research & Development

Mario Ostiguy joined Radio IP in 2008. He relies on more than 20 years of experience in software development for the wireless telecommunications industry. Mario held the position of software development manager at Système Proxima Ltée and Harris Canada. Later, he managed 802.16e (WiMAX) development projects at Wavesat from 2002 to 2008. Mario holds diplomas in computing and management from University du Quebec and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Patrick Tabourin, Vice President Marketing & Product Management

Patrick joined Radio IP Software in 2008. With over twenty years of experience in executive positions across a variety of high technology organizations, Patrick is acknowledged by his peers as a technology, financial and business development expert. His prior experience includes leading one of two worldwide Multi-Vendor Integration Centers at Ericsson and working at Innovatech Montreal, a Venture Capital Fund, where as Investment Director, he completed twenty transactions, managed a portfolio of ten companies and was seated on multiple boards of directors. Patrick holds a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nancy, a diploma in Industrial Automation from the University of Valenciennes and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from HEC Montreal.
