Radio IP Improves Mobile Communications for Thousands of Mobile Workers throughout the Government of Quebec
Rollout of additional one thousand mobile client units provides extended support to provincial public safety agencies
Minneapolis, MN – August 20, 2012 -- Radio IP Software Inc., a leading developer of advanced Mobile Virtual Private Network (MVPN) software solutions, announced today the addition of 1000 mobile client devices to the CSPQ mobile virtual private network at the annual Association of Public Safety Communications (APCO) conference. The CSPQ is the Quebec government organization that manages the telecommunications network services for provincial public safety agencies as well as other human resources, emergency and transport services across the province.
In addition to public 2G, 3G and 4G cellular infrastructures, Radio IP’s mobile VPN leverages critical private data, P25 and IV&D networks to provide secure, uninterrupted communications. Whether it’s a police officer in the field or a government teleworker, Radio IP’s mobile VPN solution ensures all users have fully-secured access to critical data and applications in real-time. Flexible group policy management enables the IT administrators from various organizations to manage their own unique policies and applications across a fleet of client devices without having to physically handle the devices and with little to no downtime. Advanced application steering capabilities allow IT administrators to control the use of networks based on factors such as cost or bandwidth requirements without impacting security.
“We are proud to continue our long-standing relationship with the CSPQ”, said Frank Draper, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Radio IP. “For more than 10 years, our teams have worked closely to deliver a solution that delivers the connectivity necessary in today’s mobile world, while ensuring a seamless path to incorporate future technologies.”
